How It Works

Getting Started

When a student registers with All American, a dedicated family advisor is assigned to support both the parent and student.

Your advisor will work with you to create a personalized course plan that leads all the way to graduation. They’ll guide you through our Online Learning System (OLS), help you get set up, and remain available to answer questions, whether it’s about courses, navigating the OLS, or general school information.

Completing course work

Students take up to 6 courses during each 3–6 month semester, which can start at any time of year. They can work through courses one at a time or simultaneously, depending on what fits best.

Courses are assigned by grade level, and parents guide daily progress. Parents review work and make sure it meets their standards.

As students finish classes, your family advisor helps plan what comes next, adjusting the graduation path as needed.

Graduating and official documents

Students receive official report cards after each completed semester. Middle school students who successfully complete the school year curriculum will receive an official certificate of completion. High school students who complete all graduation requirements will receive a high school diploma and official transcript.

Preparing for college & career

Homeschooled students often take extra initiative when preparing for college. At All American, we make that process easier by offering A-G aligned courses—recognized by many universities as college-preparatory. These courses help ensure students graduate with the academic foundation needed for higher education.

To go a step further, students can take our ACT Prep elective or prepare independently for the SAT and other entrance exams. We encourage families to plan ahead and research the specific admission requirements of the colleges they’re interested in.

While college is a great path, it's not the only one. Many students pursue trade schools, community college, or the military—all of which value a solid high school education and a clear plan. Our goal is to help students graduate ready for any path they choose.
